摘要: Abstract Background: Endovascular stent-graft placement for the treatment of patients with aortic dissection is emerging as an attractive alternative to conventional cardiac operations. However, there has been no report longer-term follow-up. The purpose this study describe our midterm results endovascular repair dissections. Methods: Thirty-eight dissections descending tears were treated stent-grafting. Ten had acute type A, 14 B, and chronic B dissection. Stent grafts fabricated from expanded polytetrafluoroethylene-covered Z stents placed close entry in all through delivery systems introduced femoral or iliac arteries. Results: Two complicated dissection, who would have required surgical intervention, died within 30 days procedure, although other same period. There late deaths during mean follow-up period 27 months. Early complication rates 33% 36%, respectively, whereas 4% 0% ( P Conclusions: Entry closure may be a safe effective method It could intervention selected strict patient selection seem mandatory receiving stent-based stent-grafts. Stent-graft should delayed without complications. J Thorac Cardiovasc Surg 2002;124:306-12
