摘要: Advances in mass spectrometry (MS), i.e., electrospray ionization and tandem using triple quadrupole instruments, have greatly enhanced the analysis of biopolymers, such as proteins glycoproteins. Electrospray enables direct coupling liquid-based separations with spectrometric detection. Capillary zone electrophoresis (CZE) allows for high resolution separation biomolecules, its inherent low flow rate is ideally suited to (ESMS). A major shortcoming CZE concentration detection limits relative liquid chromatography. This thesis presents two approaches improvement sensitivity CZE. These improved methods are applied characterization glycoproteins by CZE-ESMS.
