摘要: Careful consideration of the relative risks and benefits anaesthetic analgesic options are required in elderly patients undergoing elective ambulatory surgery. In general, doses reduced because altered pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic drug profiles due to age-related physiological changes. Patients at risk postoperative nausea vomiting require emetic prophylaxis. Postoperative pain is best targeted with a multimodal opioid-sparing regimen, opioids only for rescue analgesia.
