摘要: Abstract This study uses Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Cost (LCC) to compare three process design alternatives for treating wastewater from galvanic industry. The proposed processes have been developed in according a zero-liquid discharge, ZLD, approach included reverse osmosis the concentration, evaporation crystallization of salts, mainly calcium chloride. various scenarios differ type utilities used operation (steam as alternative hot water thermal waste) an optimization step that provided energy recovery distillate. Results show by using waste evaporation, unit is most environmentally economically favourable alternative.
