摘要: INTRODUCTION: The antibacterial effects of calcium hydroxide (CH), mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA), and enriched mixture (CEM) cement against various spp. microorganisms were assessed in-vitro using agar diffusion test. MATERIALS AND METHODS: A base layer Petri plates was made Muller-Hinton agar. Four cavities in filled with freshly mixed materials after 24 h. seeded by pour plate. pre-incubated for 2 h at room temperature followed incubation 37˚C inhibition zones diameters measured an independent observer. RESULTS: highest mean growth founded around CH CEM cement. According to One-way ANOVA there a significant difference among test groups (p<0.001); Post Hoc revealed no between the diameter However, comparison MTA group (p<0.001). CONCLUSION: It appears that is potent agent like CH.
