摘要: Identification, Delimitation and Chemical Properties of Humic Substances. The most straightforward way to solve a problem is first define the agents interest. However, this not trivial matter when it comes humic substances (HS). First all, definition HS per se trivial, since distinction between aquatic humus other types dissolved, colloidal or particulate unifying. Being composed multitude complex molecules different origin, structure, molecular size age, also possess number properties. Hence, at best, one can only hope infer average structure functionality from properties (Perdue, Vol.).Yet some basic features be identified; obvious would presence chromophores, typically giving yellow reddish brownish colour owing pronounced light absorption in UV, blue green parts spectrum.
