摘要: This paper adopts the basic tenets of Anyam-Osigwe’s holistic philosophy to examine problems embedded in Niger-Delta’s post-amnesty programme and events. The Niger Delta area Nigeria was a major boiling cauldron that threatened nation’s peace, security, unity sustenance until militants from region accepted Federal Government’s conditions for post-amnesty. Up till point, gains nation were marred it experienced plummeting local international recognition exacerbating economy, which added its many compounded by high level institutional corruption decadent leadership structure. Though offer amnesty constitutes great step achieving national development promoting human rights, modes integrating have been fraught with irregularities. Thus, this contends defects Nigerian some other methods addressing insurgence could fuel resurgence conflict area, leading ultimately negative consequences relative State.
