摘要: Background & Aims IgG subclass 4–related disease (IgG4-RD) is characterized by increased serum levels of IgG4 and infiltration biliary, pancreatic, other tissues IgG4-positive plasma cells. We assessed the prevalence allergy and/or atopy, serum, tissue IgE antibodies, blood eosinophils in patients with IgG4-RD. investigated association between diagnosis relapse this disease. Methods performed a prospective study 48 IgG4-RD, 42 an level inflammatory autoimmune conditions (disease control subjects), 51 healthy individuals (healthy subjects) recruited from Oxford, United Kingdom March 2010 through 2014, followed for median 41 months (range, 3–73 months). Serum immunoglobulin were measured at diagnosis, during steroid treatment, IgG4-RD; compared baseline subjects. Allergen-specific IgEs using ImmunoCAP. Levels distribution antibodies lymphoid, pancreatic IgG4-RD subjects immunohistochemistry. analyzed data Spearman rank correlation receiver operating characteristic curves. Results to 1.4 g/L or more, 125 kIU/L 81% 54% respectively, 6% 16% ( P = .004). Of 63% had history 40% atopy IgE-specific response; these values 60% 53% 480 distinguished 86% specificity, 36% sensitivity, likelihood ratio 3.2. Level >380 identified 88% 64% 5.4. IgE-positive mast cells eosinophilia observed samples 50% respectively. Conclusions In study, we associated allergy, eosinophilia, IgE, tissue. An IgE-mediated allergic response therefore seems develop most might be used predicting relapse.
