摘要: These days, many apps acquire location data as a way of estimating the user’s behavior. As such, there are privacy concerns in using data. In particular, users who concerned about may reduce frequency acquisition or turn off function, even though it degrades quality service. On other hand, only options available to yes-no either-or ones such "Always permit background acquisition" "Permit while app". For example, give permission app" themselves unable understand how far their own veil will be lifted. That is, no metrics that can help value How should determined? This study attempts answer question. The difficulty is single point depends on context, much app holds when was obtained. We propose "Location YardStick" (LYS) calculates information fairly context. confirmed LYS score close expectations by comparing its results with those large online survey 1300 people, and we conducted case studies which calculated acquired various actual contexts.
