摘要: A novel Vivaldi antenna with low radar cross section (RCS) for ultra-wide band (UWB) applications is proposed in this paper. As a printed electrically large length, the has backscattering when incident waves are grazing directions. By sleeking edges of antenna, re∞ected currents reduced so that peaks can be inhibited. Its radiation characteristics simulated and verifled. The RCS performance studied compared commonly used antenna. result shows lower than reference both perpendicular directions while maintaining similar characteristics. So results illuminate good candidate design UWB end-flre antennas requiring RCS.
