摘要: The fossil fuel in Libya produces the most of generated electricity. As energy demand will escalate significantly near future, more oil and gas are consumed hence CO 2 emission. Therefore, for a sustained development renewable must share electricity market. special location highest sunny belt makes solar one best alternative supplier. This paper is aimed at proposing an effective solution to enhance continuous power availability reduce peak load Libyan electric grid through replacing heaters with Domestic Solar Water Heating (DSWH). Two alternatives analyzed; photovoltaic-solar water heating (PV-SWH) system photovoltaic-photovoltaic/thermal (PV-PV/T). two options compared terms capital cost, maintenance total cost CO2 results show that saving PV-SWH around 69.79% required. Furthermore, PV-PV/T about 75.02% net need.
