摘要: Abstract The electronic structure of Eu3+ ions doped in YAl3 (BO3)4 crystal are investigated by means room temperature absorption and emission spectroscopy the 15,000–30,000 cm−1 range. observed transitions assigned analyzed on basis group theory assuming that ion occupies a D3 symmetry site. Free-ion energy diagram is presented corresponding free parameters calculated. Calorimetric red YAB calculated (x=0.67, y=0.32). Judd–Ofelt parameterization applied to analysis spectra. intensities determined as: Ω2=2.26×10–20 cm2, Ω4=5.11×10–20 cm2 Ω6=0.78×10–20 cm2. These used calculate, line strength, radiative transition probability, fluorescence, branching ratio lifetime. 5D0 life time around 3.6 ms compared with experimental value. quantum efficiency about 35%.
