摘要: The proper maturation of the hippocampus is essential for development different behaviours, including memory, pain responses and avoidance. mechanisms involved in neurodevelopment nociception have also been implicated several neuropsychiatric disorders. neonatal lesion ventral (VH) rats, an animal model schizophrenia, can be utilized to study developmental neurobiology behaviour. We examined nociceptive this at stages development. Rat pups were lesioned postnatal day 7 by injecting ibotenic acid into VH bilaterally, then tested thermal mechanical age 35, 65 180 days. tests used hot plate (HP), paw pressure (PP) tail flick (TF) tests. Another group adult rats had same underwent 28, 56 168 days post-lesions. When compared with sham controls, showed decreased latency HP PP only after puberty. TF test significant increase both groups no major changes over all periods testing. These results suggest that early alter neural processing nociception.
