摘要: Objective This study aimed to correlate the P2/P1 ratio of intracranial pressure waveforms with sedentary behavior during chronic stage stroke. Materials and methods Eight patients from Sao Carlos, Brazil, who had hemiparesis stroke onset within previous 6 months, participated in this study. To monitor their pressure, we used noninvasive Brain4Care® monitoring a postural change maneuver involving 15 min supine position an orthostatic position. The patients' was continually monitored at home using StepWatch Activity Monitor™ for 1 week. Moreover, completed International Physical Questionnaire before after Monitor™. Results In positions, ratios were 0.84 ± 0.14 0.98 0.17, respectively. percentage time spent inactivity 71 11%, number steps walked per day 4220 2239. We found high positive correlation (r = 0.881, p 0.004) between inactivity. Conclusion preliminary showed cerebral compliance. Thus, late could guide clinician's treatment reduce risks recurrent cardiovascular diseases.
