摘要: Abstract Interaction of [BHx] and [NHx] species gives rise molecular hydrogen the set-up B–N bond. Metal amides ammonia are commonly used sources. Herein, urea (CO(NH2)2), an organic carbonyl diamide, was applied to react with LiBH4. A new type complex hydrides LiBH4·CO(NH2)2, synthesized by ball milling LiBH4 CO(NH2)2 in a molar ratio 1:1 this work. Structural analyses show that newly developed has monoclinic structure (space group C12/c1) unit-cell parameters a = 14.629(2) A, b = 5.8701(11) A, c = 13.662(3) A, β = 115.135(7)°, V = 1062.1(3) A3, which Li+ coordinates two [BH4]− groups O atoms molecules. The dehydrogenation properties LiBH4·CO(NH2)2 were subsequently measured, ca. 8.13 wt% H2 can be released exothermically at temperatures below 250 °C.
