摘要: Abstract The paper is focused on theoretical modelling of the number canonical syllable types. In particular, a special emphasis laid frequency types in different languages. A mathematical model which able to capture them developed. new generalization previous approaches and it has more realistic assumptions (the two variables considered do not have be independent). It shown that yields good fit for Indonesian, Serbian (for both languages data are re-analysed), Slovene Russian.
