摘要: Di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP) is known to be widely distributed in the food chain, and previous studies have identified DEHP as a constituent of heart muscle mitochondrial lipids. The present paper describes an interaction between dietary fat on gain body weight organ weights lipid content liver, kidney rats. Groups rats were fed basal fat-free diet supple mented with either 0.1% or 4% stripped lard both for period 44 days. Dietary caused increase liver irrespective diet. Although, absence fat, did not significantly change epididymal pad, addition potentiated growth-promoting effect itself, indicating existence two constituents. Among three organs examined content, was only tissue which failed accumulate result supplementation this substance. Furthermore, acted synergistically increasing total liver. These observations strongly suggest metabolism. J. Nutr. 104: 187-191, 1974.
