摘要: Abstract Changes in the lens will cause fluctuations refractive index which, turn, increase scattering of light. Such alterations were studied by quantitative microradiography, electron microscopy, and a light technique. Certain types opacities human cortical cataract shown to start as an enlargement intercellular spaces, followed breakage cell membranes, loss some protein matrix creation large interfaces between zones with different concentrations. The nuclear differed completely from various opacities. Here, only change detected was aggregation molecules into dense clusters about 500–1000 A diameter. Aggregates similarity also found cold cataracts within nucleus calf lenses. In these two kinds reduced transparency can be explained presence aggregates which are visible under microscope.
