摘要: SUMMARY Measurements were made at eighteen sites within a beechwood on calm, uniformly overcast day in August, 1971. The varied total incoming radiation (visible plus infra-red), being placed various points light gradient from clearing to deep canopy shade. Readings of spectral intensity recorded 380 nm 1100 both inside and outside the wood. Transmission curves then plotted for all sites. These showed relative increase transmission green (550 nm) far red/near infra-red (beyond 700 wavebands. When normalised, increment beyond was shown vary between sites, becoming less marked as increased.
