摘要: In order to meet the very high purity requirements laid down on European Standard for biodiesel fuel (EN 14214), a significant amount of post transesterification purification is needed. Until recently preferred method was water washing but considerable interest now being shown in by ion exchange resins and use magnesium silicate as solid adsorbent. The three methods have been tested under several reaction conditions (temperature, concentration, agitation rate, etc.) compare which gives better results. It has found that it necessary previous methanol removal avoid saturation adsorbents. Glycerol soap content removed all processes. Not many differences other parameters.
