摘要: Phytophthora species are the main agents associated with oak (Quercus spp.) decline, together changing environmental conditions and intensive land use. The aim of this study was to evaluate susceptibility Quercus ilex inoculation eight species. Seven month old Q. seedlings grown from acorns, obtained two Spanish origins, were inoculated P. cinnamomi, cryptogea, gonapodyides, megasperma, nicotianae, plurivora, psychrophila quercina. All showed decline symptoms including small dark necrotic root lesions, cankers, loss fine roots tap root. most aggressive plurivora followed by megasperma., while quercina nicotianae less Results confirm that these could constituted a threat ecosystems implications further discussed.
