International Development's Hidden Agenda: Towards a Latent Modernization of "Traditional" Societies

摘要: This paper examines the existence of a hidden agenda in international development i.e. group latent ideas to promote social change “traditional” societies. The arguments support and analyse this proposal come from empirical work during several years places, with special emphasis Colombian ethnic minorities who receive aid European agencies. main idea focuses three areas that are part projects: gender equality, environmental awareness economic rationality. transmission does not correspond any explicit intention foreign actors, but empowerment modern logic as only possible way establish “adequate” changes.
