摘要: Since my first paper, “A Review of the Family Diastoporidae for purpose Classification”, was written, a very important book has been published, namely ‘A History British Marine Polyzoa,’ by Rev. Thomas Hincks. In this work classification adopted Prof. Busk in his Monograph Fossil Polyzoa Crag, 1859, and also British-Museum Catalogue, part iii. Cyclostomata, 1875, is set aside one that I have little hesitation saying will prove to be far more valuable working student. Instead separating Diastopora , making it type family, Mr. Hincks places genus with others second group which he calls Incrustata, D9Orb. The family name adopts Fam. II. Tubuliporidae, includes genera Stomatopora, Bronn Tubulipora, Lamarck Idmonea, Lamouroux Entalophora, . Diastopora, (pt.).
