摘要: The purpose of the present study was to establish normal prenatal development standards for nasal and vomeral bones, both formed by intramembranous ossification in membrane covering cartilaginous capsule. is based upon a combination macroscopic (devisceration radiography) microscopic (histology) analyses on 62 human fetuses from spontaneous induced abortions, ranging gestational age 9 24 weeks, representing crown-rump lengths (CRL) 33 225 mm. Special attention paid onset bone formation relation other maturity aspects growth bones. very first observed as two bilateral centers, prior ossification. Later, centers fuse caudally below septum, thus changing into U-shaped when coronal plane. By bony apposition vomer gradually changes Y-shape. appears thin contour ventral septum sagittal plane, during wedge-shaped bone. Knowledge early internal nose (vomeral bone) external (nasal significant understanding mid-face congenital malformations.
