摘要: Calcitriol exerts a diverse range of biological actions including the control growth and cell differentiation, modulation hormone secretion, regulation reproductive function. The placenta synthesizes calcitriol through expression CYP27B1, but little is known about local this in fetoplacental unit. objective study was to investigate effects upon progesterone (P(4)) estradiol (E(2)) secretion trophoblasts cultured from term human placenta. Cells were incubated presence for 18 h pregnenolone or androstenedione subsequently added as substrates 3beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase (3beta-HSD) P450-aromatase (CYP19), respectively. stimulated dose-dependent manner E(2) P(4) secretion. use selective inhibitor PKA prevented not on P(4).
