摘要: Abstract The diglycidyl ether of Bisphenol-A (DGEBA), suitable for the manufacture epoxy-glass fiber laminates, has been cured with bis(m-aminophenyl)methylphosphine oxide (BAPO), and results have compared a commercially available 4,4′-diaminodiphenyl sulfone (DDS). DSC studies indicated that an increase in concentration diamine resulted extent curing reaction even above optimum level diamine. Cured resins were stable up to 300°C started losing weight this temperature. Glass fabric-reinforced laminates based on DGEBA:BAPO exhibited higher limiting oxygen index (LOI), as well shear flexural strength than those DGEBA:DDS system. Thermal aging at 185°C 100 h did not affect mechanical properties laminates. However, significant decrease was observed interlaminar by boiling water 200 h.
