摘要: Studies of subjective and genital sexual arousal in monosexual (i.e. heterosexual homosexual) men have repeatedly found that erotic stimuli depicting men's preferred sex produce strong responses, whereas the other much weaker responses. Inconsistent results previously been obtained bisexual men, who sometimes demonstrated distinctly but times patterns more similar to those observed men. We used fMRI investigate neural correlates responses pictures videos heterosexual, bisexual, homosexual ages 25-50. Sixty participants were included video analyses, 62 picture analyses. focused on ventral striatum (VS), due its association with incentive motivation. Patterns consistent orientation, showing female-favoring male-favoring respectively. Bisexual tended show less differentiation between male female stimuli. Consistent whole brain, including VS, also additional regions such as occipitotemporal, anterior cingulate, orbitofrontal cortices. This study extends previous findings gender-specific provides initial evidence for distinct brain activity
