摘要: We have isolated cDNA clones specific for Arabidopsis thaliana cytosolic ribosomal protein S11 and plastid CS17, both of which are encoded in the nuclear genome, through use corresponding soybean pea cDNAs as probes, respectively. The nucleotide sequences all four were determined. amino acid derived from these show that A. encode proteins homologous to rat CS17 Escherichia coli S17. plant also significant sequence similarity E. S17 indicating related proteins. Comparison with suggests is more than it S11. These results support idea gene encoding was a prokaryotic endosymbiont not duplication eukaryotic gene.
