摘要: Due to its high toxicity, phenol is classified as a priority. In this paper, the removal of from aqueous solutions was investigated using EDTA and activated persulfate (PS) with nano zerovalent iron (Fe· or nZVI). The influence operational parameters such initial pH, Fe·/EDTA ratio, species, chemical additives, presence chloride ion on efficiency process investigated. An artificial neural network (ANN) model applied predict degradation efficiency. intermediate compounds produced during mineralization in addition were also decomposition products analyzed gas chromatography–mass spectrometry analyzer. highest 93.98%, which obtained at pH = 6.0, Fe·/EDTA = 1 (PS) = 7 mM. main intermediates included phenol, 2-chloro-2-nitro-trimethylphosphine oxide, 4-ethylbenzoic acid, oxalic hexadecanoic succinic acid benzoquinone. Upon application ANN model, good correlation training test data. conclusion, our results implied that Fe· along chelating agent can effectively activate PS enable oxidation degrade priority pollutants contaminated wastewater.
