摘要: The purpose of this study was to understand the meanings and lived experiences multiple concussions in professional hockey players using hermeneutic, idiographic, inductive approaches within an interpretative phenomenological analysis. interviewer athlete who had suffered concussions, interviewees were five former National Hockey League athletes retired due medically diagnosed during their careers. men discussed physical psychological symptoms they experienced as a result how affected careers, personal relationships, quality life. related these turmoil that is ever present lives. These findings are interest athletes, coaches, sport administrators, family members, psychology practitioners, medical professionals, highlight severity short- long-term effects concussions.
