摘要: The use of sealed nickel-cadmium cells for single duty cycle applications involves certain novel features which little or no quantitative knowledge exists. investigations presented in this series papers have sought answers to the questions raised broad terms. This first paper considers effects long term storage (up 10 years), short-circuited condition, at temperatures ranging between −40–+70° C. An accelerated test procedure was formulated determine charge acceptance degradation after any given period and temperature. results indicate that will constitute a major problem area these applications.
