摘要: Abstract The performance of the Roche tissue pH electrode has been assessed by comparison values recorded with arterial blood, in fetal sheep. Observations were made under controlled conditions when was steady, during hypoxia, and after hypoxia. results showed a highly significant correlation electrodes blood (r = 0.89, p 2 ), lagged behind changes up to 10 min. conclusion is that inherent variability makes it unsuitable as an absolute indicator well-being, cannot be used alone indication for operative intervention. Nevertheless, because limitations conventional techniques, should valuable adjunct and, particular, help interpretation equivocal heart rate tracings, thereby reducing risk death.
