摘要: Object Cerebrospinal fluid shunts are the mainstay of treatment hydrocephalus. In past studies, outcomes shunt surgery have been analyzed based on follow-up 1 year or longer. The goal current study is to characterize 30-day outcomes, identify clinical risk factors for infection and failure, develop statistical models that might be used stratification. Methods Data 2012 were obtained from National Surgical Quality Improvement Program-Pediatrics (NSQIP-P) American College Surgeons. Files with index surgical procedures insertion revision a CSF composed set. Returns operating room within 30 days failure without end points. Associations large number potential univariate basis.
