摘要: Genes encoding NAD(P)H-flavin oxidoreductases (flavin reductases) similar in both size and sequence to Fre, the most abundant flavin reductase Escherichia coli, were identified four species of luminous bacteria, Photorhabdus luminescens (ATCC 29999), Vibrio fischeri 7744), harveyi 33843), orientalis 33934). Nucleotide analysis showed Fre-like reductases P. V. consist 233 236 amino acids, respectively. As E. coli enzymes bacteria preferably used riboflavin as an electron acceptor when NADPH was donor. These also good suppliers reduced mononucleotide (FMNH2) bioluminescence reaction. In fischeri, enzyme is a minor representing < 10% total FMN reductase. That has no appreciable homology acid major FRase I, indicates that at least two different types supply FMNH2 luminescence system fischeri. Although are highly luxG gene products (LuxGs), LuxGs appear constitute separate groups flavin-associated proteins.
