摘要: Abstract Background An adequate number of high-quality nurses are a key factor for superior patient outcomes. However, in 2015, Cambodia reported only 52 with bachelor's degrees, three master's and one doctorate. The fast track to getting highly educated nursing workforce requires providing bridging program associate's degree achieve baccalaureate degrees. Objectives To assess improvement the competency students faculty members through that prepares obtain degrees Cambodia. Design Mixed methods. Setting Educational institutes Phnom Penh, Participants A total 45 Cambodian participated nurse-bridging 12 served as co-teachers. Methods We conducted surveys compare competence before, during, after program. focus-group interviews support qualitative results explored changes student competencies Results Quantitative analysis revealed significant improvements students' (p  Conclusions This study provides evidence effectiveness higher nurse education developing countries, illustrates an opportunity produce human resources nursing.
