摘要: We analysed a fragment (247 bp) of cytochrome b mitochondrial DNA sequenced using 353 samples yellow-necked mice Apodemus flavicollis trapped in seven forests and along three woodlot transects north-eastern Poland. Our aims were to identify the phylogeographic pattern mtDNA structure population evaluate role environmental conditions shaping spatial diversity. found out that European haplogroups occurred sympatrically Inferences based on haplotype distribution frequency defined five subpopulations. The mtDNA-based significantly correlated with winter temperature: Haplogroup 1 was positively, 3 negatively mean temperature January year trapping. Synthesis published pan-European data species phylogeography also showed possibly 'thermophilous' has westernmost occurrence, whereas more 'cold-resistant' occurs much further north-east than other haplogroups. observed patter may be byproduct tight coevolution nuclear genes, as we have earlier − NE Poland best explained by temperature. Alternatively, association genetic variation is possible adaptive involved process ATP production via oxidative phosphorylation.
