摘要: Pseudomonas putida DSM 84 produces N-carbamyl-D-amino acids from the corresponding D-5-monosubstituted hydantoins. The gene encoding this D-hydantoinase enzyme was cloned and expressed in Escherichia coli. nucleotide sequence of 1.8-kb insert subclone pGES19 determined. One open reading frame 1,104 bp found predicted to encode a polypeptide with molecular size 40.5 kDa. Local regions identity between amino acid that other known amidohydrolases (two D-hydantoinases, allantionase dihydroorotase) were found. used as probe screen DNA isolated diverse organisms. Within strains rRNA group I, specific. did not detect genes pseudomonads bacteria, or plants express activity.
