摘要: Abstract Spondias purpurea and S. mombin (Anacardiaceae) are tropical species native to Mexico with a distribution that spans all of America, Central Peru Brazil. The fruits consumed fresh or processed enjoy good consumer acceptance because their taste, which ranges from sour sour-sweet, in the case diversity colouration its epicarp. All these characteristics suggest high commercial potential for other regions as well export markets. Despite this, marketing is mainly local due perishability. most common postharvest pests diseases fruit flies fruit-rot fungi; however limited number conservation methods used scarce knowledge concerning physiological behaviour fruit. This document therefore, aims provide relevant information about biology technology published by authors over last 50 years, experimental data obtained our research group will useful reference future work on handling genetic resources.
