摘要: CD97 was identified as an early activation marker on T cells, having low expression naive cells. This is a common feature of molecules that have role in T-cell function. It subsequently ligand for CD55, which has been previously innate regulator complement. The interaction this receptor-ligand pair shown to provide potent costimulatory signal human despite their modest affinity. Though both and CD55 are expressed cells well antigen presenting (APCs), significant when APCs interacts with converse poorly defined may be less significant. A unique aspect the stimulation leading induction IL-10 producing behave like Tr1 regulatory raises number questions regarding dual functions CD55; regulating complement stimulating via any potential overlap consequences these roles.
