摘要: In this study, cobalt sulfide (CoS) electrodes are synthesized using various solvents such as water, ethanol and a combination of the two via facile chemical bath deposition method on Ni foam. The crystalline nature, states surface morphology prepared CoS nanoparticles characterized X-ray diffraction, photoelectron spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy transition microscopy. electrochemical properties also evaluated cyclic voltammetry, galvanostatic charge-discharge impedance spectroscopy. When used an electrode for supercapacitor, with solvent exhibits capacitance 41.36 F g-1 at 1.5 A g-1, which is significantly better than that water water/ethanol-based (31.66 18.94 F g-1 respectively). This superior attributed to ideal solvent, allows easy diffusion electrolyte ions into inner region electrode. High electrical conduction enables high rate capability. These results suggest highly promising energy storage applications well photocatalysis, electrocatalysis, splitting solar cells, among others. show positive material practical supercapacitors.
