摘要: Increasing recognition is being given to the adoption of green roofs in urban areas enhance local ecosystem. Green may bring several benefits including flood mitigation. However, empirical evidence from full-scale roofs, especially those that have been operational for more than years limited. This study investigates hydrologic performance a extensive roof Leeds, UK. Monitoring took place over 20 month period (between 30th June 2012 and 9th February 2014). The results indicate can effectively retain detain rainfall precipitation events included analysis. Retention was found correspond significantly with depth, duration, intensity prior dry weather period. Significant differences retention values between summer winter seasons were also noted. Regression analysis failed provide an accurate model predict as demonstrated by validation exercise. Further monitoring reveal stronger relationships characteristics retention.
