摘要: The present study tested the hypothesis that around age of weaning, human infants are more interactive with their environment immediately after breastfeeding. To this aim, we assessed 4- to 6-month-old infants' responsiveness a rotating, musical mobile before breastfeeding on one test day, and another. Thirteen infants, fitted miniature movement detectors both left leg wrist, were videotaped for 4 consecutive min during which was alternately switched off in 1-min intervals. Although showed no significant differences limb activity as function timing breastfeed, they looked at significantly longer when This finding suggests has substantial effect attentiveness interaction environment. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
