摘要: Abstract Contrary to the prevailing pessimistic AI takeover scenarios, theory of Global Brain (GB) argues that this foreseen collective, distributed superintelligence is bound include humans as its key beneficiaries. This prediction follows from contingency evolution: we, already present intelligent forms life, are in a position exert selective pressures onto emerging new ones. As result, it cognitive architecture GB will human beings and such technologies, which best prove advance our collective wellbeing. paper aims nuance problematize forecast by offering novel combination several existing theories: Kauffmann's adjacent possible, Lotman's concept semiosphere, Luhmann's social systems, Heylighen's intelligence. The resulting framework allows for reinterpretation history species way suggests may not be individual humans, but who most advanced intelligence currently operating on Earth. Our unique early Neolithic out mutual interrelations occurrences symbolic communication argued capable individuating into autonomous, agents. distributedness dominating form might challenge predicted Brain, likely introduce additional powerful sources pressures. Since rapid evolution interconnecting technologies appears open up immense emancipatory possibilities only also intelligently evolving ‘creatures semiosphere’, concluded context rapidly self-organizing close watch needs kept over dynamics latter.
