摘要: By combining the upper and lower bounds to free energy as given by Gibbs inequality for two systems with same intermolecular interactions but external fields differing from each other only in a finite region of space Γ, we show that corresponding equilibrium densities must also differ somewhere Γ. We note basic equations density functional theory arise naturally simple rearrangement reinterpretation terms bound such briefly discuss some complications occur when differ.
