摘要: Provided are hydrogenation catalysts for processing esters into fatty alcohols. More particularly, the vapor-phase of methyl to alcohols under fixed-bed conditions, where conditions typically in a temperature range 200 250°C and pressure 30 50 bar. Methods making using same also provided. These comprise copper chromite, an alkali metal or alkaline earth component, inorganic matrix which processed together form catalyst.
