摘要: High‐latitude laminar confinement of the interior field Bi is shown to be possible. Mean downwelling U as weak 2×10−6 cm s−1‐gyroscopically pumped by turbulent stresses in overlying convection zone and/or tachocline—can hold advective‐diffusive balance within a layer thickness scale δ∼1.5 Mm∼0.002R⊙. The sits at base high‐latitude tachocline, near top radiative envelope and just above ‘tachopause’ marking helium settling layer.
