摘要: A connector assembly for use in transmission line installations. An elongated steel tube is provided and an aluminum sleeve axially inserted into the exhibits a rate of extrusion greater than tube. current carrying cable has plurality outer strands central extending inner which insert within sleeve. The subjected to mechanically compressing area reducing procedure such that extrudes at material associated with fills irregularities existing between strands. also establishes stress relief wire tubular body slidably engaged over assembled compressed specified locations order secure about cable.
