摘要: With both scanning and transmission electron microscopy, large ectoplasmic projections are found intruding into the lumen from epithelial cells of rat uterus. These projections, which abundant prior to implantation during delayed implantation, communicate with underlying cytoplasm only by a small pedicel as though in process pinching off. However, introduction tracer material uterine demonstrates pinocytotic nature these projections. Within three minutes after termed pinopods, contain numerous vacuoles filled tracer. ten containing present apical subjacent individual pinopods. The varied images observed experimental control materials suggest that there is continual turnover pinopods. Initially simple projection, pinopod apparently develops rapidly mass ectoplasm 2–3 μ diameter multiple folds pockets at its surface internal vacuoles. Following period active endocytosis fluid, becomes more spherical and, together contained material, withdrawn cytoplasm. It suggested pinocytosis might play role producing apposition blastocyst luminal epithelium, passing information stroma, diminishing molecular contents specific times reproductive process.
