摘要: A technique, including apparatus and accompanying methods, for use in a tile oriented digital screener suppressing induced image artifacts through of "blue noise" based selection among number different halftone dot fonts. Specifically, producing screened pattern any density value, two-dimensional seamless matrix blue noise correlated uniformly distributed integer values is used to select one fonts that will be produced value. The amount the specifically tailored, both amplitude frequency response, substantially suppress all low place resulting screening errors at sufficiently high spatial frequencies so as render these essentially invisible human observer. Across identical values, illustratively contain symmetric edge variations, constant area center locations. Through this noticeable increase granularity also advantageously avoided.
