摘要: A crack-closure method was developed for use in Material Point Method (MPM) calculations. The can be used calculation of the dynamic energy release rate a variety fracture mechanics problems. Most previous MPM analyses have regular grids and \lumped" mass matrix. For most accurate calculations, grid had to replaced by an adaptive that automatically rened mesh around crack tip lumped matrix full Using more important accuracy than switching Some sample calculations are given double cantilever beam specimen carried out several dieren t methods.
